Free-Standing Structures
(Sheds/Storage Rooms)
1. Construction may begin only after written approval from the AGL committee and obtaining all required permits from County authorities having jurisdiction over the project.
2. Free-Standing Structure Specifications:
1) Eight feet wide
2) Ten feet long
3) Eight feet tall (maximum inside wall height)
4) Flat roof with minimal pitch or a “4/12 pitch roof”
3. Structure must be constructed on the side (if on lakefront property) or rear of property. All structures shall be constructed behind a minimum of a six-foot fence or landscaped on all exposed sides so as not to adversely affect the adjacent lot or the use thereof.
4. All electrical cables must be run underground and installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code.
5. All structures must have an entry door that is capable of being locked from the outside.
6. Exterior lighting must be shielded from disturbing adjacent properties.
7. Air conditioners must be approved by the AGL committee.
