Free- Standing
Structures
(Sheds/Storage Rooms)
- Erecting
a Free Standing Structure at CCPPOA requires written approval of the
(AG/CC&R) and D R Horton Homes in advance.
- Construction
may begin upon written approval by (AG/CC&R) and D R Horton Homes and
after all required permits or other authorities having jurisdiction over
the project.
- Free
Standing Structure Specifications
- Free
Standing Structure must be erected on an approved concrete pad.
- Structures
must not exceed the following dimensions:
1)
Eight feet wide
2)
Ten feet long
3)
Six feet tall
4)
Flat roof with minimal pitch
- Exterior
must be wood, stucco, brick, or vinyl lap siding or combinations of
previous finishes. NO METAL SHEDS.
- Roof
must be shingled with same type and color of homeowners dwelling.
- The
outside of the structure must be of the same color of the homeowners
dwelling.
- Free
Standing Structures must be constructed on the side or rear of homeowner’s
property. It may not be installed beyond the edge of the conservation,
vegetation, natural buffer or drainage easement. All structures shall be
constructed so as to not adversely affect the adjacent lots or the use
thereof.
- All
electrical cables must be run underground and be installed in accordance
with the National Electrical code.
- All structures
must have an entry door that is capable of being locked from the outside.
- All
window framing must be of same type and color of the homeowners dwelling.
- Exterior
lighting must be shielded from disturbing adjacent properties.
- All
Free-Standing Structures shall be landscaped as to screen from view of
adjacent property owners.
- No
air-conditioners permitted unless approved by AGCC&R and/or D R Horton
Homes.
